This lock is 51.8 km up the Trent-Severn Waterway System and can be found on chart 2021. The lift is 7.0m high. Lock 13 is located just north of the Town of Campbellford. There is a beautiful sheltered picnic area along the lower wall beneath a towering elm. Boaters should expect to lock through on the west side at this location. With a population of 8,000, Campbellford makes a pleasant stop to take a break, get provisions and stay overnight. Old Mill Park, in the heart of downtown Campbellford, is a full service docking facility with washroom and shower facilities, and a picnic area. Docking is located along the core wall with 30 and 50 amp services. Stretch your legs with an enjoyable hike on the rotary trail, cross the 300-foot Ranney Gorge Suspension Bridge, offering a breath-taking view – located at Locks 11 and 12 a short walk away. Old Mill Park is the site of many community events, including free musical concerts on Wednesday evenings.
