Victoria Rail Trail

The Victoria Rail Trail is an 85km rail trail with corridors linking Kinmount to Bethany, through Lindsay. The public trail is open year round for recreational uses including walking, hiking, cycling, fishing, horseback riding, dog sledding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing; and, subject to possession of a valid trail permit, snowmobiling & ATVing. An access point for the Central Corridor of the trail begins on William Street North in Lindsay, takes you past Thunder Bridge Road, Ken Reid Conservation Area and eventually north to Fenelon Falls. The Ken Reid Conservation Area is a good place to explore on the way with many facilities including a variety of trails, a marsh boardwalk, Osprey nests, picnic shelters, group camping and a beach area. The trail follows Sturgeon Lake into Cameron and then north into Fenelon Falls.
